I prefer to do self guided hunts whenever I can. The archery ibex hunt was one that I felt if I was lucky enough to draw, I might need the aid of some hunting partners. I was recommended to apply through G3 Outfitters to increase my odds of drawing. I could not believe it when my draw status showed green and I had actually drawn the tag for archery ibex. I found out that while drawing this tag seemed impossible, navigating through the Floridas and putting an arrow through a billy is next to impossible. I absolutely could not have pulled this off without Jay and the outstanding team of guides that he works with. Their knowledge and passion for this hunt is second to none. Their drive is contagious and I’m very greatful for the many hours of preparation that G3 put into this hunt prior to me arriving in camp. Words cannot express the satisfaction of releasing my arrow and seeing my billy fall off the face of the mountain and land literally 10 feet from me. The severity of angles on this hunt is insane. My shot was 64 yards and I used my 30 yard pin. I can assure you that I will be applying again this year, and would not consider applying and hunting with anyone else. G3, thanks again.
